Brooklyn is built from stainless steel rather than cast aluminium or coated pressed metal, which is the reason it holds up on an exposed wall. Stainless resists the pitting and rust bleed that ruins the look of a facade fixture long before the light itself fails, and the black finish is applied over that base rather than doing the protective work on its own.

The fixture is IP65 rated, so the housing is sealed against dust and against water jets from any angle. Combined with the anti rust treatment, that makes it suitable for coastal exposure, driven rain, and the freeze and thaw cycle that opens up seams in cheaper housings.

The form is deliberately plain: a clean rectangular body that washes light up and down the wall rather than drawing attention to the fixture. Warm white 3000K output keeps brickwork, render, and timber reading their natural color instead of going blue under the light. It hard wires to a wall base included with the fixture.
