Harper keeps a slim profile against the wall, which matters on a narrow entry or a passage where a deep fixture becomes something people walk into. The depth is small enough that the light reads as part of the wall rather than an object bolted onto it, while still throwing a usable beam up and down the surface.

An IP65 rating and anti rust treatment cover the parts of outdoor life that kill fixtures: driven rain, hose spray, garden irrigation, and the salt and grit that collect near a driveway. The housing is sealed rather than merely covered, so water does not sit in the optic or reach the driver.

The LED is energy efficient and long life, which changes the maintenance picture for a light that will run every night. Warm white 3000K output keeps the finish of brick, stone, and painted render looking correct after dark, and the same fixture is rated for indoor use where a matching light is wanted inside the door.
